Pick list overview in the warehouse app
All pick lists of the warehouse by status and period – with template, type, picker and progress; create, print, process, cancel and delete pick lists, plus rolling pick lists and pick waves.
Under Goods issue → Pick list overview you see all pick lists of the selected warehouse – like the pick list overview (Picklistenübersicht) in JTL. Here you create, print, cancel and delete pick lists; they are processed under Picking. The ERP no longer has pick lists: Create pick list in the order list, in shipping or on the dashboard opens this page in a new tab.
Viewing requires the permission View stock. Creating, processing and cancelling require Create and process pick lists; deleting requires Delete pick lists (not started or cancelled). If a permission is missing, the button stays visible but greyed out – tapping it shows which permission is missing.
The list
At the top you filter by status – the number next to it shows how many lists there are:
- Open – created, no line confirmed yet
- In progress – started, not yet completed
- Completed
- Cancelled
On the right you choose the Period (default: last 30 days, based on the creation date). In the search field you scan or type a pick list or order number.
On the desktop you see a full-width table, on a phone cards. For each list they show:
| Field | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Pick list | Number of the list |
| Template | Pick list template with colour – or Manual |
| Type | Single pick, pick-to-box, batch pick, zone pick or rolling |
| Orders, lines | Count, plus the number of units |
| Picker | assigned, or who picked last (zone pick: the pickers of the partial lists) |
| Created | Time and user |
| Progress | confirmed lines, the share with shortages in red |
Open lists with shortages are marked red.
Actions
Tap a list. The actions are at the bottom – side by side on the desktop:
- Process – opens the list under Picking.
- Print – to this device's pick list printer (print agent). If none can be reached, the PDF opens.
- Cancel – open lists only. The orders return to their previous status; please put back goods that have already been picked.
- Delete – only cancelled lists or lists that have not been started yet.
Below that are the Orders of the list; tapping one opens the order in the Order overview. On the desktop the same actions are available via right-click, plus Output (print, save, preview with print template).
Creating a pick list
- Tap Create pick list.
- At the top you can choose a pick list template and create the list from it with one click.
- Or choose the orders yourself, the Type (single order or batch pick list) and a note, check the Preview and create the list.
The warehouse is always the one selected in the warehouse app. If the call comes from the ERP (e.g. selected orders → Create pick list), the orders are already preselected.
Rolling pick lists and pick waves
If rolling pick lists are currently running, the Rolling pick lists section shows, for each list, the picker, finished orders, open boxes and picks per hour. Tapping opens the list.
Via Pick waves at the top you switch to the waves with progress, cut-off and carrier – there you also create waves and wave schedules. The table is designed for the desktop.
Common errors
| Problem | Solution |
|---|---|
| Button greyed out | A permission is missing – tapping shows which one. Have the role extended in the administration. |
| List missing | Extend the period or change the status – the list always applies only to the selected warehouse. |
| "Only open pick lists can be cancelled." | Completed lists remain; cancelled ones are already cancelled. |
| Printing only opens the PDF | No pick list printer is set up for this device, or the print agent cannot be reached. |
