Order overview and reprinting in the warehouse app
Search orders in the warehouse, see status and errors, regenerate a failed shipping label and reprint labels, delivery notes, invoices and other documents.
If something went wrong while packing – the printer was off, the paper ran out or the carrier rejected the label – you can catch up on everything under Goods issue → Order overview: scan the order, look at the error, create the label again and print all documents once more.
To view orders you need View orders and access to the warehouse app. For Reprint and Print you need the permission Reprint shipping labels and documents in the warehouse app, for Create label again the permission Create shipping labels. If a permission is missing, the button is greyed out – tapping it tells you which permission is missing.
Finding an order
Scan or type (keyboard icon in the search field) one of these values:
- Order number or the platform's order number (e.g. Amazon, eBay, shop)
- Tracking number or parcel number from the label – including GS1 codes (SSCC) and return labels
- Delivery note or invoice number
- Pick list number or shipping box
- Customer number or customer name (part of it is enough)
If there is exactly one match, the order opens immediately. Otherwise you see the list with order number, platform, customer, date, number of parcels, carrier and the status: Picked, Packed, Shipped, Label error or Print error.
At the top you can quickly filter by Today, Label error, Packed, not shipped and Shipped. The period is set to Last 30 days and can be changed next to it. The search also finds numbers such as tracking or order numbers outside the period. Orders of the selected warehouse are shown.
FFN orders from your merchants (as a fulfiller) can be found with a search term: order number, the merchant's order number, tracking number, pick list or recipient. The channel is called FFN · Merchant. There are no documents to reprint for these – carrier and tracking number are shown with the parcel.
Create label again
If the label failed at the carrier, the order shows the carrier's error message, for example an incomplete address. Fix the cause (e.g. correct the address in the order) and then tap Create label again.
- The label is created using the order's shipping method. If the order has no shipping method with a carrier, you choose the carrier.
- If a valid label already exists, no second one is created – simply reprint it instead.
- As with packing, the order is booked as shipped.
- The new label is printed right away on this device's label printer.
Reprint
Under Documents you find all documents that exist for the order or can be generated:
| Document | Note |
|---|---|
| Shipping label | per carrier, all together for multiple parcels |
| Return label | if one was created |
| Delivery note, Invoice | for partial deliveries the newest one is preselected |
| Export documents | CN22/CN23 and commercial invoice, only for deliveries outside the EU |
| Packing list, Pick list | not preselected |
- Select the documents – everything that is printed after packing is preselected.
- Tap Reprint. Printing works as after packing, via the print agent on this device's printers per document type (device profile or your printer settings).
- For each document you see the result: printed on which printer – or the error with Try again.
You print individual documents using Print in the row; View opens the PDF. If no printer can be reached, open the documents via Open as PDF and print from there.
Every reprint is recorded in the Print history and in the order's history in the ERP, e.g. "Reprint: shipping label, delivery note (device packing station 2)". A print error after packing is also noted there and appears in the overview as Print error until a reprint has succeeded.
