Supplier returns in the warehouse app
GuideLast checked on 15/10/2026
Collect goods for a supplier return from the bins by scan and book them as shipped – in WMS warehouses this is only possible in the warehouse app.
If goods go back to a supplier, you create the Supplier return in the ERP under Purchasing → Supplier returns. Under Goods issue → Supplier returns you take the goods from the shelf and book them out. In WMS warehouses, only the warehouse app books the shipment of a supplier return.
You need the permission Post stock movements.
Step by step
- Tap Supplier returns. Under To pick you find the warehouse's open returns with supplier, units, lines and, if available, the RMA number. Tap one.
- Scan the Bin where the goods are – the app reports "Bin …. Now scan the item."
- Scan the Item. The line is confirmed on the most recently scanned bin. Without a scanned bin, the app uses the intended bin or the only bin with stock – if there are several, you choose one (with the available quantity).
- You can also tap a line and choose the bin in the list.
- Once all lines are done, tap Book as shipped. The goods are booked out with the reason "Supplier return".
In standard warehouses it works the same way – there the bin is the warehouse.
Scanning
The app recognises items by item number, EAN/GTIN, GS1 code and pack EAN. For items with batches, the bin selection only shows bins with that batch.
