Fill boxes in the warehouse app

With Batch pick and Zone pick you collect the total quantity of all orders per item. Under Goods issue → Fill boxes you then distribute the goods at the sorting station into the boxes of the individual orders.

You need the permission Fill boxes (shipping boxes and trolleys when picking).

#Step by step

1. Tap Fill boxes. You see the warehouse's open batch and zone pick lists – fully picked ones (Ready) first, otherwise Being picked. Tap one or scan the pick list.
2. If needed, assign shipping boxes via Boxes and cart: scan a cart (compartment n = box n) or one box per box slot – the scan applies to the next box slot without a box.
3. Scan item – or tap it under Still to sort. The app shows the Box, the quantity and the order in large type.
4. Put the goods in and scan the Box (box code, "K3" or the box number) – or tap … into box …. Use Change quantity to put in less.
5. Continue with the next item. Under Boxes you see how much is already in for each order.
6. Once everything is sorted and picked, tap Complete pick list. Then Pack now takes you to Packing – automatically for templates with pack directly.

You can start sorting while colleagues are still picking. You can only complete once no line is open anymore.

#Reporting a remainder

If goods are missing while sorting (picked but no longer there, or damaged), tap Remainder, enter the missing quantity and confirm … missing. When completing, the order is put back as a shortage.

#Scanning

The app recognises items as everywhere in the warehouse app: item number, EAN/GTIN, GS1 code, pack EAN and other numbers. If a Box area is set on the device (device profile), only boxes from this area are accepted.
