Change condition in the warehouse app
GuideLast checked on 15/10/2026
Rebook goods as B-stock, defective or back to new – from the source bin to a bin with the matching condition, with batch, quantity and serial numbers.
Under Internal → Change condition you rebook goods into a different condition, for example a damaged piece as B-stock or Defective. The condition is tied to the storage bin: the goods therefore move to a bin with the new condition. B-stock and defective goods are not sellable.
You need the permission Change item condition (new, B-stock, defective) in the warehouse app.
Step by step
- Tap Change condition in the menu – or Condition in the stock enquiry.
- Scan storage bin where the goods are.
- Scan item or tap it in the list.
- New condition: choose the target condition. Below each condition it says whether it is sellable.
- If there are several batches on the bin, choose the Batch.
- Enter the Quantity (at most the bin stock) and, if needed, choose the Serial numbers.
- Target bin: under Bins for "…" the app suggests bins with this condition. Enter a Comment if needed, then scan the target bin – this makes the booking.
A pair of "Condition changed" movements (out of the source bin, into the target bin) is booked in the movement journal.
Scanning
- Items via EAN/GTIN, item number, GS1 code or pack EAN – the search covers the items on the bin.
- If comments are mandatory in the warehouse, type the comment first, then scan the target bin.
