Stock transfer in the warehouse app

Under Internal → Stock transfer you move goods within the warehouse from one bin to another. Every transfer is a booking – the stock is correct immediately.

You need the permission Transfer stock and maintain replenishment. Without it, the menu item is not shown.

#Step by step

1. Tap Stock transfer and scan the source bin.
2. You see what is on the bin. Scan the item or tap it in the list.
   • If there are several items on the bin, you can choose Transfer whole bin instead – the quantity step is then skipped.
3. Enter the Quantity (everything on the bin is suggested) and tap Continue to target bin.
4. Scan the target bin. The app shows a put-away suggestion for it.
5. If comments are mandatory for transfers in the warehouse, enter a Comment (at least 3 characters).

After the booking you stay on the source bin as long as there are still goods on it – so you can transfer several items in a row.

If, according to the system, the source bin is then empty and the warehouse requires a check, the app asks Bin empty now? With Yes, bin is empty the bin counts as counted; with No, there is still something a count task is created, which you can complete right away via Count now.

#Scanning

• Items via EAN/GTIN, item number or GS1 code; UPC, MPN, supplier number and pack EAN are also recognised.
• If you scan a different bin in the item step, it becomes the new source bin.
