Stock increase in the warehouse app

Under Internal → Stock increase you increase the stock on a bin – for example when goods turn up that were not in the system. Every stock increase is a correction with a mandatory Reason and is recorded in the movement journal. For deliveries, on the other hand, use Goods receipt or Free goods receipt.

You need the permission Positive adjustment in the warehouse app (increase stock with a correction reason). Without it, the menu item is not shown.

#Step by step

1. Tap Stock increase in the menu – or Plus in the stock enquiry; the bin is then already selected.
2. Scan storage bin. The bin must not be blocked. A standard warehouse has no bins – this step is skipped and the booking goes directly into the warehouse.
3. Scan item – or tap an item from the list On …. An empty bin works too: simply scan the item.
4. Enter the Quantity (default 1, or the quantity from the scan).
5. Depending on the item:
   • Batch: if there are already batches on the bin, choose one or tap Record new batch.
   • Record Batch and best-before date or Serial numbers if the item requires them.
6. Choose the Reason (required) and enter a Comment if needed. If comments are mandatory for the warehouse, you need at least 3 characters.
7. Check Stock on the bin (before → after) and tap + … book.

You then stay on the bin and can scan the next item.

#Scanning

• Items via EAN/GTIN, item number, GS1 code or pack EAN. A pack EAN (e.g. carton ×6) pre-fills the quantity with the pack's unit count.
• From a GS1 code the app automatically takes the Batch, BBD and serial number.
• If you scan another bin instead of an item, you switch to that bin.
