Identical orders in the warehouse app

GuideLast checked on 15/10/2026

Pick identical orders as a batch pick list, check one sample and create and print all labels, delivery notes and invoices in one series.

Many orders with exactly the same content (same items, same quantities) – for example after a promotion – don't have to be packed one by one. Under Goods issue → Identical orders the warehouse app combines them into groups. You pick them together, check one sample and then start the series: labels, delivery notes and invoices are created for all orders of the group in one run.

The menu item appears in standard and WMS warehouses with the permission Batch shipping of identical orders. The ERP no longer offers batch shipping – only the warehouse app does. To start the series you also need Create shipping labels, and to create the pick list Create pick lists.

Finding groups

  1. Tap Identical orders in the menu.
  2. For each group the list shows the content per order, the number of orders, the total number of units and the shipping method or carrier.
  3. Use the filter at the top to set From how many orders a group appears and whether only orders with the same shipping method are combined. The device remembers the selection.
  4. Use the arrow at the top right to search again.

Counted are open, deliverable orders of the selected warehouse that are not on hold and whose payment allows shipping.

1. Create the batch pick list and pick

Tap a group and then Create batch pick list and pick. The app creates the pick list (at most 50 orders per list – larger groups get several lists) and immediately opens Picking. In a standard warehouse you pick without a bin scan – only the item is scanned.

If orders of the group are already in an open pick list, the app shows those lists under Open pick lists. Tap one to continue picking – no duplicate list is created. After the pick list is completed, Next: identical orders takes you back to the group.

If the goods are already at the packing station, tap Goods are at the packing station – check sample directly.

2. Check a sample

Pack one order of the group as a sample and scan each item – item number, EAN/GTIN, GS1 code or pack EAN. With the permission Enter quantities when packing instead of scanning each piece, Quantity or Mark all as checked also work – provided the storage rule and device profile allow it (see Enter quantity, then scan).

3. Start the series

  1. Choose the Packaging and check the Weight per package – the target weight from items and packaging is suggested. With a scale connected to the device, tap Weigh. The warehouse's weight check applies as when packing.
  2. If needed, choose the Carrier for orders without a shipping method with a carrier.
  3. Delivery note and invoice are created according to the output rules for packing – or switch them off.
  4. Tap Start series.

Before starting, the app checks whether the group still exists as it was. If something has changed (order changed, cancelled or shipped otherwise), you see a note and the group is reloaded.

The series keeps running on the server even if the device gets locked. The app shows the progress. Afterwards it prints – per carrier first the labels, then delivery notes, then invoices – via the print agent on this device's printers (device profile or your printer settings). Anything that could not be printed is listed under Print again.

Orders where something went wrong (e.g. an address error at the carrier) are listed with the reason under Rework. You pack them individually under Packing.
