Connect shops and marketplaces

GuideLast checked on 18/10/2026

Connect WooCommerce, Shopware 6 and Shopify shops as well as the Kaufland and OTTO Market marketplaces to allverto, understand how orders, stock, shipping and cancellations are synced, set up mappings and item upload, and manage channels.

Connected shops automatically deliver their orders to allverto as orders. In return, allverto reports available stock and shipped orders back to the shop.

What is synced?

DirectionWhatWhen
Shop → allvertonew orders as ordersevery 2 minutes
allverto → Shopavailable stock (if overselling is allowed, at least the configured quantity)every 10 minutes and immediately after goods receipt or shipping
allverto → Shopshipped orders with tracking number (WooCommerce: completed, Shopware: delivery status "Shipped", Shopify: fulfilled)on shipping
allverto → Shopcancellations you trigger in allverto (entire order, and depending on the shop also individual line items)within a few minutes
allverto → Shoppayment received: orders paid in allverto are marked as paid in the shop (WooCommerce, Shopware, Shopify – only if switched on)with the next order fetch
allverto → Shopitem data (title, texts, prices, images …) via item upload – only if set upon a schedule or manually

You can connect the shops WooCommerce, Shopware 6 and Shopify as well as the marketplaces Amazon, eBay, Kaufland and OTTO Market. You connect Amazon and eBay by signing in at the marketplace – see Connect Amazon and Connect eBay. You connect your own allverto Shop via its sync user; allverto then also transfers the complete catalogue – see Connect allverto Shop.

For marketplaces, allverto also reports the price (channel price from the item) and takes over line item cancellations from the marketplace – see Marketplaces: Kaufland and OTTO Market.

You can also connect the PrestaShop shop (webservice) and the marketplaces MediaMarkt/Saturn, Conrad, Decathlon & co. (all marketplaces running on Mirakl), bol.com and Allegro – see Further marketplaces.

How orders are imported

  • Items are matched via the item number (SKU or product number) – upper/lower case doesn't matter. You match variants via the item number of the child item; for WooCommerce, allverto loads the variations of variable products individually and reports their stock per variation. A bill of materials (set) is imported as a set and reserves its components.
  • Unknown item numbers are imported as a free line item and named in the sync log. The same applies to parent items (not sellable) and configurable items whose components you still have to choose in the order.
  • The customer is recognised via the email address, otherwise created as new. Billing and delivery addresses come from the order.
  • Shipping costs become a separate line item, discounts and vouchers (Shopware, Shopify) a deduction line per tax rate. Fees from WooCommerce (cash on delivery, payment method, packaging or deposit surcharges) become separate line items. Prices without tax (e.g. Shopware B2B "net") are converted into gross prices by allverto. If the sum of the line items differs from the total in the shop, the sync log shows a note with the order number.
  • Tax: If the shop supplies a VAT ID (WooCommerce plugins, Shopware, Amazon Business, allverto Shop) and charges the order without tax, allverto imports it as an intra-community supply; tax-free orders to non-EU countries as an export – each with 0 % instead of the standard rate. If the shop reports a domestic order as tax-free, allverto uses the standard rate and writes a note to the log.
  • Payment and shipping method appear in the order's note. With the mappings, allverto also sets the order's payment method and the customer group of new customers. Paid orders arrive as "Paid"; if an order is paid or cancelled later, allverto updates the status.
  • Each order is imported only once. Orders already completed or cancelled are not imported in the first sync; the first sync fetches the last 30 days.
  • Faulty order: If an order cannot be imported, allverto still imports the others and names it in the sync log with order number and reason. The next sync tries it again; after five failed attempts the fetch moves past it – the log keeps pointing it out.
  • Cancellation in the shop: If the shop cancels an order, allverto cancels the open order and releases the reservation to all channels immediately. If the order has already been partially delivered, allverto does not cancel it – the note appears in the log and in the order history.

Before you start

  • Roles with the "Connect sales channels" permission can connect and manage channels (usually Owner and Administration). Anyone with "View orders" can also view the page.
  • Depending on the shop system, you need credentials with the appropriate permissions – see the instructions below.
  • How many online shops and marketplaces you can connect depends on your plan (Jolle 1 and 1, Kutter 2 and 3, Frachter 5 and 10, Flotte unlimited) – see Plans and limits. The Sales channels page shows below its heading how many are in use. Once the limit is reached, a notice with the way to change your plan appears instead of the wizard; channels that are already connected always keep running.

Step by step: connect WooCommerce

  1. In WooCommerce: open WooCommerce → Settings → Advanced → REST API, click Add key, description "allverto", permissions Read/Write. Copy the consumer key and consumer secret – WooCommerce only shows the secret once.
  2. In allverto: Sales area → Settings at the bottom left → in the Sales settings window under Channels, the Sales channels item.
  3. Click Connect shop and choose WooCommerce (Shopware 6, Shopify and allverto Shop are also available).
  4. Enter Name in allverto (how the channel appears in lists and filters), Shop URL (e.g. https://mein-shop.de), Consumer key and Consumer secret.
  5. Choose an Order colour – the orders of this shop are highlighted with it in the order list, shipping and picking.
  6. Click Test connection and then Connect. allverto fetches the first orders immediately.

allverto stores the keys encrypted.

Step by step: connect Shopware 6

allverto uses the Shopware 6 Admin API (version 6.4 and later) via its own integration.

  1. In the Shopware administration: Settings → System → Integrations → Add integration, name "allverto".
  2. Assign permissions – either enable Administrator (the simplest way) or assign a role that can at least:
    • Orders: view and edit (set delivery status and tracking number)
    • Products: view and edit (stock)
    • Sales channels: view
  3. Copy the Access key ID (usually starts with SWIA) and the Secret access key. Shopware only shows the key when it's created.
  4. In allverto: Sales channels → Connect shop → Shopware 6. Enter Name in allverto, Shop URL (without /admin), Access key ID and Secret access key.
  5. Click Test connection. Then you can choose a Sales channel – allverto then only fetches its orders. With All sales channels you get orders from all sales channels.
  6. Choose an order colour and click Connect.

In Shopware, stock applies to all sales channels together; allverto sets the stock per product number. Main products with variants have no stock of their own in Shopware and are skipped. On shipping, allverto enters the tracking number on the delivery and sets the delivery status to Shipped – Shopware sends emails to customers via the Flow Builder.

Step by step: connect Shopify

allverto uses the Admin API (GraphQL) via an app that is only installed in your shop.

  1. In Shopify: Settings → Apps and sales channels → Develop apps → Create an app, name "allverto". If your shop no longer offers this, create the app in the Shopify Dev Dashboard and choose the Client ID and client secret authentication in allverto.
  2. Under Configuration → Admin API integration, select these scopes and save:
    • read_orders – read orders
    • read_products – read products (item numbers)
    • write_inventory – read and write inventory (stock)
    • read_locations – read locations (location)
    • write_merchant_managed_fulfillment_orders – fulfil fulfillment orders (report shipping)
  3. So that name, address and email arrive in the orders, allow access to protected customer data.
  4. Install app and, under API credentials, reveal and copy the Admin API access token (shpat_…) once.
  5. In allverto: Sales channels → Connect shop → Shopify. Enter Name in allverto and the Shopify address mein-shop.myshopify.com (not your own domain). Under Authentication, choose Admin API access token (paste the token) or Client ID and client secret (app from the Dev Dashboard). The API version is preset to the current stable version.
  6. Click Test connection. If scopes are missing, allverto lists them individually. Then choose the Location for stock (Default location: the location for online orders).
  7. Choose an order colour and click Connect.

allverto sets the available quantity at the chosen location; for items without inventory tracking or without stock at this location, allverto turns this on. On shipping, allverto fulfils the order's open fulfillment orders with carrier, tracking number and tracking link; Shopify notifies the customer.

Step by step: connect PrestaShop

allverto uses the PrestaShop webservice (versions 1.7, 8 and 9).

  1. In the PrestaShop back office: open Advanced Parameters → Webservice and enable the webservice.
  2. Add new webservice key, generate a key (32 characters), description “allverto”.
  3. Grant permissions (view, modify, add) for orders, order_histories, order_carriers, order_states, customers, addresses, countries, currencies, carriers, products, combinations, stock_availables and configurations. Save.
  4. In allverto: Sales channels → Connect shop → PrestaShop. Enter name, shop address and webservice key.
  5. Test connection – if permissions are missing, allverto names the resources. Then Connect.

allverto imports orders including customer, delivery and billing address, discounts and gift wrapping, reports stock per product or combination (SKU of the combination) and sets shipped orders to Shipped with tracking number – PrestaShop sends the shipping email to the customer. Optionally allverto reports incoming payments (status Payment accepted) and cancellations (status Cancelled, whole orders only). Products with advanced stock management (stock from warehouses) are managed by PrestaShop itself.

Marketplaces: Kaufland and OTTO Market

For marketplace orders, the marketplace is the leading system: line items, prices, customer, billing address and payment are only changed there. If the marketplace cancels individual units, allverto reduces the quantity in the open order (or removes the line item) on the next sync and recalculates the totals; if everything is cancelled, the order is cancelled. The sync log names every cancellation imported.

  • Matching: first via the item number, otherwise via the EAN in the item master data. Kaufland always matches offers via the EAN – so make sure to maintain it in the item.
  • Price: allverto reports the item's channel price (item window → Prices tab → channel price for this channel, otherwise the sales price). Items without a price remain unchanged.
  • Stock: as with the shops – available stock, for sets the calculated set stock, if overselling is allowed at least the configured quantity.
  • Carriers: allverto translates DHL, DHL Express, Deutsche Post, DPD, GLS, Hermes, UPS, FedEx and freight forwarders into the marketplace's codes. OTTO doesn't know Deutsche Post – allverto reports its shipments as DHL.
  • Shipping costs and tax rate come from the order; the marketplace handles the payment.

Step by step: connect Kaufland

  1. Sign in to the Kaufland Seller Portal (seller account, owner or admin rights).
  2. Open Settings → API and copy the Client key (32 characters) and Secret key (64 characters).
  3. In allverto: Sales channels → Connect marketplace → Kaufland. If Kaufland is already listed under "Shops and marketplaces not yet connected", click Connect shop on its card instead – existing orders stay assigned.
  4. Paste the Client key and Secret key, choose the Marketplace (default kaufland.de) and enter the Handling time in working days – allverto maintains it on all offers.
  5. Test connection, then Connect. allverto immediately fetches the orders ready to ship and sends stock and prices.

Step by step: connect OTTO Market

  1. Sign in to OTTO Partner Connect. In user management, give yourself the API-Zugriff (API access) permission and sign in again.
  2. API-Zugriff (API access) section → Live (for testing Sandbox) → Neue App erstellen (create new app), name "allverto", select the scopes Orders, Shipments, Availability and Products.
  3. Copy the Client ID and Client secret – OTTO only shows the secret once.
  4. In allverto: Sales channels → Connect marketplace → OTTO Market (or Connect shop on the existing Otto card). Paste the Client ID and Client secret; for a sandbox app, turn on the Sandbox app switch.
  5. Ship-from postcode and Ship-from city you ship from. If left empty, allverto uses the address of the default warehouse.
  6. Return carrier: DHL, GLS or Hermes – the carrier of the return labels you include (otherwise None).
  7. Test connection, then Connect. If the app lacks a scope, allverto names it.

Further marketplaces: MediaMarkt, Conrad, bol.com and Allegro

Here too the marketplace is leading. As with Kaufland and OTTO, allverto imports orders, reports stock and price (channel price from the item) and reports shipping with carrier and tracking number. The marketplace’s ship-by date is shown on the order (column Ship by, filters Ship today and Ship-by date exceeded).

Step by step: connect a Mirakl marketplace

  1. Sign in to the marketplace back office (Mirakl) with your seller account.
  2. Top right My user account → API key: generate or copy the key. The operator provides the API address (e.g. https://operator.mirakl.net).
  3. In allverto: Sales channels → Connect marketplace → MediaMarkt, Conrad & co. Choose the marketplace, paste API address and key. You only need the shop ID with several shops.
  4. Keep Accept new orders automatically switched on – Mirakl requires acceptance before the operator collects payment.
  5. Test connection, then Connect.

Step by step: connect bol.com

  1. In your bol.com seller account open Instellingen → API-instellingen and create an API key for the Retailer API (production).
  2. In allverto: Sales channels → Connect marketplace → bol.com, paste client ID and client secret.
  3. Test connection, then Connect.

bol.com does not provide a tax rate; allverto uses the item’s rate in the destination country. allverto reports stock up to 999 units.

Step by step: connect Allegro

  1. Sign in to apps.developer.allegro.pl with your seller account and create an app of the type “The app has no access to a browser”.
  2. In allverto: Sales channels → Connect marketplace → Allegro, paste client ID and client secret and choose Approve at Allegro.
  3. allverto shows a code. Open Allegro, sign in and confirm the code – allverto then connects by itself.

Allegro renews the approval at every sign-in; allverto stores it automatically. allverto converts prices from the channel price to złoty (company or ECB rate).

Manage channels

The Sales channels page has three sections: Connected shops and marketplaces, Own sales channels and Shops and marketplaces not yet connected. Each channel appears as a card with its status (Connected, Paused, Sync error), the orders of the last 30 days (of which open), the last sync and the order colour. The card has the buttons Fetch orders and Send stock as well as a ⋯ menu with the most important actions. Right-clicking the card offers everything your role has the permission for – without "Connect sales channels" only Channel orders. What is not possible right now (no connection, paused, sync running) is greyed out and states the reason:

  • Sync now ▸ Fetch orders or Send stock
  • Connect shop… (only for channels not yet connected)
  • Test connection
  • Connection settings… (WooCommerce: shipping note, Shopware: sales channel, Shopify: location and API version, all three: report payments, Kaufland: marketplace, handling time and create offers, OTTO: ship-from location and return carrier, Amazon: marketplaces, FBA import and invoice upload, eBay: marketplace, Amazon/eBay: renew authorisation)
  • Change credentials… (WooCommerce, Shopware, Shopify) – see below
  • Mappings (payment method, customer group, cancellation)… – see below
  • Item upload… (WooCommerce, Shopware, Shopify) – see below
  • Show sync log – the last 30 syncs with result and messages
  • Orders of this channel – opens the order list filtered to this channel
  • Rename…
  • Order colour ▸ – choose a colour, No colour or Choose with preview…
  • Pause sync / Resume sync
  • Disconnect – see below; for unconnected channels without orders Delete channel… instead

You set how often a channel syncs in the Sync overview.

Change credentials

If you need new keys – for example because a Shopify token has expired, the WooCommerce secret was renewed or the shop has a new address – you don't have to disconnect:

  1. Right-click the card (or the ⋯ menu) → Change credentials….
  2. Check the Shop URL and enter the new credentials: WooCommerce Consumer key and Consumer secret, Shopware Access key ID and Secret access key, Shopify Admin API access token or Client ID and client secret.
  3. Save. allverto first checks the credentials with the shop and only saves them if the connection works.

Connection settings (sales channel, location, API version), offer mappings, mappings and existing orders are kept; the order fetch continues where it left off.

Disconnect

Disconnect deletes the stored credentials and pauses the channel. This means:

  • The channel's orders are kept; new orders and stock are no longer synced.
  • The offer mappings (which shop item belongs to which allverto item) are deleted and rebuilt with the next stock sync.
  • The channel still counts towards the plan limit. If you reconnect it later via Connect shop on its card, it doesn't take up a new slot.
  • After reconnecting, the first sync fetches the last 30 days again; allverto recognises orders already imported and doesn't create them twice.

If you only want to replace the keys, use Change credentials… instead.

Report payments to the shop

When allverto books a payment for a shop order (bank reconciliation, manual payment, payment provider), allverto can mark the order as paid in the shop – so the shop and the customer account show the correct status, for example for prepayment or invoice:

  • WooCommerce: orders in "Pending payment" or "On hold" change to "Processing" (with payment date and private note).
  • Shopware: the order's payment changes to "Paid".
  • Shopify: the order is marked as paid (app scope write_orders).

Switch on: right-click the card → Connection settings… → switch Report payments to the shop. Payments from the moment of switching on are reported, each with the next order fetch. Orders that were already paid when they came from the shop are not reported back. If the shop rejects it, this appears in the sync log; allverto retries up to five times.

Shipping note to customers (WooCommerce)

When shipping, allverto writes a note visible to the customer on the WooCommerce order (carrier, tracking numbers, for partial deliveries the items included). Under Connection settings… you set:

  • Language of the shipping note: By country of the billing address (default) or always German, English, French, Italian, Spanish, Dutch or Polish.
  • Formal form of address: off = informal form of address. The preview shows the text.

Mappings (payment method, customer group, cancellation)

Right-click the card → Mappings (payment method, customer group, cancellation)…. At the top, choose the Mapping type:

  • Payment methods: Every payment method the channel has already delivered is listed with Key in the shop, Label and Seen. For each row, choose the payment method in allverto. Without a mapping, the order's payment method stays empty; the paid status still comes from the channel.
  • Customer groups: customer group of the shop → customer group in allverto. It's only set for customers without a group – a manually chosen one stays.
  • Cancellation reasons: for each reason in allverto, the code the channel receives with the cancellation. For Shopify and Shopware there is also the switch Notify customers of the cancellation (shop email).

You enter keys that haven't been delivered yet at the bottom under Add key. Then click Save.

Item upload (WooCommerce, Shopware, Shopify)

Right-click the card → Item upload… transfers item data from allverto to the shop. Stock continues to be reported by the stock sync.

  1. Under Fields you choose what is transferred: Title, Description, Price (channel price, otherwise sales price), Images, Variants, EAN/GTIN, Weight, Categories, Product safety (manufacturer, responsible person).
  2. Create missing items in the shop switch – off: only change items that already exist in the shop (matched by item number or EAN).
  3. Make newly created items visible immediately switch – off: new items arrive in the shop as drafts or inactive.
  4. Save, then Upload now or Resend everything.

You turn on the automatic upload in the Sync overview (row Upload items → Activate). At the bottom of the window you see the status in the shop ("… created, … matched"), the last run and the errors per item.

Tracking numbers from the channel

If the shop, the marketplace (e.g. Amazon FBA) or another tool ships an order, allverto takes over the tracking numbers during the order sync – just like JTL-Wawi. They appear in the order under Shipments, next to the line items and under Shipping → Shipments → From channel, each marked from channel, with the carrier as named by the channel and the tracking link.

  • Channel shipments have no allverto label: there is no "Show label", no cancelling, no end-of-day closing and no shipping costs. They do not count under Label created.
  • allverto sends no shipping notification back to the channel for them – the channel already knows the number. The order history shows "Sendungsnummer vom Kanal übernommen" (tracking number taken over from the channel).
  • If allverto recognises the carrier (DHL, DPD, GLS, UPS, Hermes …) and there is an account for it with tracking enabled, the delivery status is retrieved as well.
  • Each number is taken over only once per order. Numbers of your own labels that the shop returns after the shipping notification are not created twice.
  • Orders that the shop already reports as completed are still not imported – only existing orders receive the numbers.

Reload: right-click the card → Jetzt synchronisieren ▸ Sendungsnummern nachladen… (Sync now ▸ Reload tracking numbers), choose a period of 30, 90 or 180 days and click Reload. The fetch runs in the background; the result (x orders, y tracking numbers) appears as a message and in the sync log.

What the channels provide: Shopify (fulfillments), WooCommerce (plugins "Shipment Tracking"/"Advanced Shipment Tracking", DHL for WooCommerce for completed orders), Shopware 6 (tracking codes of the delivery), allverto Shop, PrestaShop, MediaMarkt/Conrad & co. (Mirakl), bol.com, eBay, OTTO Market and Allegro. Amazon and Kaufland do not provide tracking numbers through their order interface.

Frequently asked questions

The status shows "Sync error".

Open the sync log. Common causes: key or integration deleted in the shop or without write permission, missing Shopify scopes, shop not reachable. If the credentials are invalid, create new ones in the shop and enter them via Change credentials… – there is no need to disconnect and reconnect.

What happens if the shop reports too many requests?

Shopify limits queries via a cost budget, Shopware, Kaufland and OTTO via requests per second. allverto then waits automatically and tries again; if that fails, the next sync catches up on everything.

Are there webhooks?

allverto does not receive webhooks from the shops: allverto polls the shops regularly (orders every 2 minutes, stock every 10 minutes). With Sync now you trigger a sync immediately. For your own systems, however, allverto sends outgoing webhooks (e.g. "Order created", "Stock changed") – see API and webhooks.

Can a channel keep selling when stock is empty?

Yes, per item and channel: item window → Sales channels tab → Overselling slider. allverto then reports at least the configured quantity to the channel (default 10 pcs), even without stock. See Sales channels in the item.

Does changing an order in allverto also change the order in the shop?

Only cancellations: allverto reports them to the channel (see above). If you change e.g. line items or the address of a shop order in allverto, the shop doesn't find out – allverto points this out when you edit.
