System log and error ID
Find errors quickly – with the error ID from the error message, filters for period, area and severity, details and CSV export.
When something goes wrong in allverto, the error message shows an error ID such as F-7K2Q4. Under this ID the error is stored with all its technical details in the System log – you can find it there straight away, and so can the allverto team if you get in touch with a question.
The error ID
Error messages (shown at the bottom or top right) contain the line Error ID F-… below the text, with a Copy button. This is the fastest way to help support:
- Click Copy in the error message.
- Paste the ID into your message to support (e.g. by email).
- Briefly describe what you were trying to do.
Not every message has an error ID: input errors (e.g. a required field is missing) are shown directly at the field and are not logged.
Before you start
The system log is visible to roles with the "View system log (errors, syncs, shipping, sign-ins)" permission – usually Owner and Administration. Other roles can be given the permission under Users and roles.
Opening the system log
Click the gear at the top right and open System log (group "Users & security"). The newest entries are at the top; errors are marked red, warnings yellow.
| Filter | Effect |
|---|---|
| Search | Error ID (e.g. F-7K2Q4, upper/lower case doesn't matter) or a word from the message, action or reference |
| Period | Default: last 7 days; "All time" shows all 400 days |
| Area | All areas or e.g. Sales channels, Shipping, Email, Background jobs, Sign-in & security |
| Severity | All messages or Error, Warning or Info – with the count in the selected period |
Load older fetches more entries, the arrow icon reloads, and Export as CSV downloads the filtered list for Excel. The columns (Time, Severity, Area, Message, Action, Error ID, Person, HTTP, Reference, Duration; hidden: Code) can be moved, shown and hidden like in any list. A filter on a channel or order appears at the top as an "Only …" chip with an X to remove it.
Entry details
Double-click (or right-click → Open details) shows the entry in the detail window:
- at the top the plain-language text with the error ID and copy button,
- below it the action, person, error code, HTTP status and Reference – one click opens e.g. the order, the channel or the carriers,
- expandable technical details (for support: the other side's response, a sync's counters, shortened stack trace).
Right-clicking an entry also offers Open reference, Copy error ID, Copy entry (JSON), Only area "…" and Only "…" (only entries for this channel, order, etc.).
What's in the system log?
| Area | Entries |
|---|---|
| Interface (API) | Server errors, rejected actions (e.g. missing permission, conflicts) – each with an error ID |
| Browser | Errors in the interface and connection problems to the server |
| Sales channels | every manual sync, every sync with news and every failed one: orders fetched, stock reported, shipment reported – with counters and the response from the shop or marketplace |
| Shipping | Labels (per order, successful or with a reason), cancellations, end-of-day closing – for all carriers |
| sent and failed emails (recipient shortened, never the content) – for mailboxes see Email sending | |
| Background jobs | failed and retried jobs |
| Data migration | runs of the migration from JTL-Wawi |
| Automations | runs with errors |
| Sign-in & security | failed sign-ins and support access by allverto – for blocks and approvals see Firewall |
| System | other technical events |
You can also find the entries directly at the channel: Sales channels → right-click the channel → Show sync log. At the top is the Recent errors section with the error ID and the link View in system log. The Sync overview also leads straight here via the Errors column.
Data protection
Passwords, access keys, tokens, cookies, bank and card details as well as full contents (e.g. email texts, order data) are never stored – allverto removes them before an entry is written. Email addresses appear shortened (e.g. l***@beispiel.de). Entries are deleted automatically after 400 days (just over 13 months).
The allverto team sees the same entries in its own logbook so it can help you quickly with questions; every look into the logbook is logged there.
System log and change log
The Change log shows who changed what data. The system log shows technical processes and errors – for example why a shop sync or a label didn't work.
