Filters and filter templates
Filter lists with conditions, choose period and channel and save filters as your own or as a company template.
In the sales lists – orders, invoices, credit notes, quotes, returns, subscriptions and customers – you filter with Templates and your own Conditions. You see the number of matches while you are still filtering.
Templates
Above the list are the templates, e.g. “Open”, “Payment open”, “Ready to ship”, “Overdue” or “Reminded” – each with a count. There are three kinds:
- System templates are built in. To adapt them, you duplicate them.
- Your own templates are visible only to you.
- Company templates are visible to everyone in the company. Only people allowed to manage filter templates for the company may create or change them.
Right-clicking a template offers Open, Rename…, Edit conditions…, Duplicate, Show on opening (for me) or (for everyone) and Delete…. You change the order by dragging.
Step by step: setting your own filter
- Click Filter above the list. The filter panel opens above the table.
- Click Condition and choose field, comparison and value – e.g. “Gross amount” “greater than” “500”. Date fields also understand relative values such as “in the last … days”.
- Add more conditions. At the top you decide whether All (AND) or At least one (OR) condition must apply. With OR group or AND group you build a subgroup, e.g. “Channel is Amazon AND (Country is AT OR Country is CH)”.
- At the top right of the panel you see the number of matches.
- Click Apply. Active conditions appear as chips above the list; you can remove each chip individually.
Saving as a template
In the filter panel choose Save as template…, enter a name (e.g. “Large B2B orders”) and, if needed, Share with the whole company. The template then appears as its own entry above the list.
Period and channel
Next to the templates you choose a Period (with presets such as “This month”) and a Channel. Both apply in addition to the template.
Filtering directly from the table
For many columns, right-clicking a cell offers Filter by this column… and Filter by these values – handy, for example, to see all orders of the same customer.
