Using allverto: menu bar, search and keyboard shortcuts
Menu bar with area menus, quick launch for POS and warehouse app, left sidebar, command search with Ctrl+K, switching tenants, colour scheme and the most important keyboard shortcuts.
allverto can be operated with mouse, touch and keyboard. The operation is modelled on JTL-Wawi: at the top the areas as a menu bar, on the left the pages of the area.
Menu bar at the top
- Clicking an area (e.g. Sales) opens its main page.
- Hovering with the mouse opens the area menu: lists at the top, below them Create new and at the very bottom the area's Settings as a submenu.
- When a menu is open, you switch to the next area simply by moving over it.
- If not all areas fit in the bar, the rest are under More.
- On narrow screens and tablets, the icon with three lines opens the navigation as an expandable list.
Opening the POS and warehouse app
To the right of the areas there are two icons without text:
| Icon | Opens | Required permission |
|---|---|---|
| Shop | the POS in a new tab | Operate the POS and the POS add-on module booked |
| Phone | the Warehouse app in a new tab | Use the mobile warehouse app |
| Workbench | the Production app in a new tab | View production orders, Production add-on module and at least one work centre |
Hover over them with the mouse to see the name in the tooltip. An icon only appears if you are allowed to use the app – if you lack the permission or the add-on module is not booked, it is not shown at all. POS, warehouse app and production app run on their own addresses (pos.…, wms.…, wbs.…).
If no POS or no warehouse has been created yet, the respective icon is missing; Open POS or Warehouse app (mobile) in the menu and left sidebar are then greyed out, and clicking tells you where to set them up (Sales → Sales settings → POS or Warehouse → Warehouse settings → Warehouses & WMS). As soon as the first POS or warehouse is saved, they appear without logging in again.
Left sidebar
It shows the pages of the active area. At the bottom you find Settings (opens the area's settings window) and Collapse – when collapsed, only the icons remain; allverto remembers your choice.
Search and commands (Ctrl+K)
With Ctrl+K or the magnifier in the header (tooltip “Search”) you open the command search as a popup. Type a few letters, e.g. “inv” for invoices or “number” for number ranges, and confirm with Enter. It finds:
- Records from two characters: orders (order number or the shop's external order number), documents (invoice, credit note, quote and delivery note number), purchase orders to suppliers, customers (customer number, name, company, email) and items (item number, name, EAN). Up to five hits appear per area, exact matches first; Enter opens the order or document in a window, customers and items on their page. Only areas your role may view are searched.
- all pages you have permission for,
- all menu items of the settings windows (they open the right window directly),
- actions such as New order (only with the Create orders permission) or Dark theme / Light theme.
On the right of the header
| Element | Function |
|---|---|
| Shop / phone / workbench | Open POS, Warehouse app or Production app in a new tab (see above) |
| Magnifier | Search – opens the command search (Ctrl+K) with search for orders, documents, customers and items |
| Tenant code with arrow | Switch tenant if you work in several, or Add tenant (more) |
| Bell | Notifications, e.g. from automations or new messages in the team chat |
| Speech bubble | Team chat with groups and direct messages, red counter for unread messages – only with the Team chat add-on (more) |
| Gear | Administration settings |
| Circle with initials | My profile, Set up printers or Printer management (as soon as the print agent runs on this device), Help for the current page in a separate tab, Theme (Light, Dark or Automatic), automatic logout, Sign out and What's new with the current version, Accounts (other signed-in accounts, Sign in with another account) |
Several accounts in the same browser
Each tab can be signed in with a different account – for example tab 1 with your access in tenant A and tab 2 with another employee or tenant. You don't need a private window or a second browser for this.
- Sign in with another account: menu with your name → Accounts → Sign in with another account. The sign-in page opens in the current tab; your existing sign-ins remain active.
- Switch account: Accounts lists all accounts signed in in this browser with their company; the check mark shows the account of this tab. A click switches only this tab.
- New tabs: links from allverto that open in a new tab (order windows, warehouse app, POS, PDFs) stay in the account of the tab you came from. A bookmark or a newly typed address uses the account used last. A duplicated tab keeps its account.
- Sign out only signs out the account of this tab. Automatic logout, lock, two-factor authentication, permissions and firewall apply per account.
- Up to 5 accounts can be signed in at the same time; expired sign-ins disappear from the list.
Light or dark theme
In the menu with your name (circle with initials at the top right), choose Light, Dark or Automatic under Theme. Automatic follows your operating system's setting and changes with it. The choice applies to this browser. You can also switch via the command search (Ctrl+K) with Dark theme or Light theme. The POS and the warehouse app remember their theme separately (in the warehouse app in the side menu).
Important keyboard shortcuts
| Key | Effect |
|---|---|
| Ctrl+K | Search and commands |
| F1 | Help for the current page or the active window |
| Ctrl+S | Save in the window (order, item, customer …) |
| Esc | Close the active window (asks first if there are unsaved changes), clear the selection |
| Ctrl+Enter | Open the selected order in its own browser window |
| Ctrl+Shift+H | Bring a detached window back into the main window |
| Shift+F10 | Context menu via keyboard |
| F2 | Edit a cell in a table |
| Ctrl+A | Select all visible rows of a table |
In tables you move with the arrow keys; Enter or double-click opens the row. More under Tables.
Switches and popups
Options that can only be on or off are switches with a label next to them in allverto – one click toggles them. Confirmations, selection lists and small inputs open as a popup in the middle of the screen, not as a panel at the edge. Esc closes a popup without changes.
