Using the help: F1, question mark and search

ReferenceLast checked on 17/10/2026

How to find the right help – with F1, the “Help” entry in the account menu, the question mark in windows, the link in the page header and the search with filters.

allverto's help is publicly available at allverto.cloud/hilfe – even without logging in. In the app, one click or one key takes you straight to the right topic.

Opening help from the app

WhereWhat happens
Help in the menu with your name (circle with initials at the top right)Opens the help for the page you are on in a separate tab
F1Opens the help for the current page – or for the active window if you are working in a window
? in a window's title bar (tooltip “Help for this window (F1)”)Help for exactly this window: in the item window matching the selected tab (e.g. Prices → help on prices), in the settings window matching the menu item
Link Help for this page in the page headerAppears next to the page title if there is a topic for this page

The help always opens in the same browser tab. In separate browser windows (e.g. a detached document) there is a button with a question mark at the top right for this. That way help tabs don't pile up, and you can switch easily between the app and the instructions. If there is no dedicated topic for a place yet, the help start page opens with a matching search.

Searching

  1. Open the help start page.
  2. Click into the search field or press / or Ctrl+K. On every topic page the search is also at the top of the header.
  3. Type keywords, e.g. “goods receipt” or “REST”. Results appear immediately, with the search terms highlighted. Word beginnings are enough, and umlauts don't matter (“groesse” finds “Größe”).
  4. Move through the results with the arrow keys and open one with Enter.

Filtering

Next to the search you narrow down the topics:

  • Area – e.g. Sales, Items, Warehouse, POS, JTL migration or Getting started.
  • Type – Guide (step by step), Reference (overview, fields, meanings) or FAQ (frequently asked questions).

Structure of a topic

Each topic has a table of contents on the right, and many have annotated screenshots. At the bottom you find related topics and the date of the last review. Topics marked New describe features that have only just been added – they are expanded continuously.
