Placeholders, emails and webhooks
Fill texts in automations with placeholders like {{auftrag.nummer}}, send emails and notifications and inform external systems via webhook.
You can use placeholders in notes, emails and notifications. allverto replaces them with the object's values when running – Hallo {{kunde.name}} becomes "Hallo Lena Berg".
Placeholders
Placeholders are written in double curly braces. Which ones exist depends on the automation's object; the editor flags unknown placeholders with a hint.

In the editor you insert placeholders via the { } button (Insert placeholder) – it only shows those that match the object. Placeholders are only replaced with values – there are no calculations or conditions in the text. If a value is empty, the spot stays empty. The shipment placeholders go well with the triggers Shipment delivered and Shipment with problem.
Send email
- Recipient: Customer (email from order/master data) or Fixed address (e.g. your purchasing department).
- Subject and Content with placeholders.
- The email is sent in the background as soon as the automation's other changes are saved; if there are problems, allverto retries several times.
Notification in allverto
Sends a message to One user or All users of a role. It appears in the bell at the top right of the header. Example: "Reorder: {{artikel.name}}" to the Purchasing manager role when an item falls below the reorder point (template "Below reorder point → notify purchasing").
Call webhook
A webhook sends a message to another program (e.g. Zapier, Make or your own system).
- Address: the recipient's public
https://address. Internal networks and localhost are blocked; the timeout is 5 seconds. - Content: Event + object data or Event and ID only.
- Secret key (optional): allverto uses it to sign every message (HMAC-SHA256 in the
X-Allverto-Signatureheader, plusX-Allverto-Timestamp). This lets the recipient verify that the message really comes from you. The key is no longer displayed after saving – leave the field empty to keep it.
